Ok, so I got real busy with school and had to take a blogging break but I'm working on getting back to it!
This challenge is 'things you want to say to an ex', but I don't really have anything to say to an ex. I am on decent terms with all of my exes and there are no hard feelings about anything that has happened! I guess if I had to say something to any of them it would be that I hope your lives are turning out to be everything you wanted to be and that you are following your dreams.

Bachelorette Week 4
Well I decided this week instead of describing the whole show instead I would just describe the some of the men and what I think about them.
So lets start with Doug since he had the first one on one. I really like Doug and I continue to like him more every time he speaks to Emily. He is kind and I believe he is mature enough to handle what Emily is offering but at the same time will be fun. I wasn't so sure about what he said about how because they were older they were more mature than some of then others, but in some ways he is right and he had very good responses to what Chris had to say to him about it.
Arie is still one of my favorites! He is just so sweet and knows how to make Emily feel good. He is perfect! He is cute, genuine, and can make Emily smile just by looking at her. They really seem to have a connection and can't wait to see him more!
Jef is also on my top list. He is cute and funny. I enjoy watching him and Emily and how they seem to get a little nervous around each other. And the nervousness is making them even cuter! Jef's hair is just ridiculous though. The wind makes it silly looking and it makes him look like a 17 year old not 27! I honestly didn't even think he was old enough on the first night! I was very happy Jef got the rose on the group date, but I really wish he wouldn't have gotten to comfortable as to wear those socks at the rose ceremony. Jef is definitely a winner, but he needs to lose those socks and that hair!
I have to admit I was rooting for Ryan a little in the beginning. I mean come on I have to cheer on my Georgia man. But now he can just leave. I know someone tweeted that he was a disgrace to Augusta and all mankind and they are so right! I mean do you hear the stupid things he says on tv?! Does he know that women everywhere are watching and do not find what you are saying attractive! First he makes the snarky comments to Emily in previous weeks, but now he's saying stupid things behind her back. He needs to lay off of Arie because Arie can't help that Emily likes him! He also needs to keep his mouth shut about things like he'll be the next bachelor or something like that. Ryan, you need to go!
Chris Chris Chris. I was really liking him until he got so worked up about what Doug said. Yes Doug made a comment about being more mature because he's older. And maybe Chris is mature because of his experience. BUT they need to just agree to disagree and get over it. The argument should have been over when it was over, but instead Chris brought it all the way to the rose ceremony. Honestly, that was ridiculous and kinda pissed me off. Most of what Chris said didn't make sense and Doug didn't even have anything to say back because he didn't care. And that shows that maturity levels of both of them!
I don't have a lot to say about anyone except these few things... I wish I would have seen Sean a lot more and it made me upset that he missed out on the group date! I was very sad to see Charlie go and happy to see Micheal leave! I'm also very ready to see Emily lash out on someone like something ridiculous! Hopefully we get somewhere with some of these guys next week!

A book you love
I love to read and I definitely don't get to as much because of school and all the reading that it requires. But I do have two favorite books that I'll share today.
xo
- Sunday's at Tiffanys: This is a book written by James Patterson, which is surprising because most of his books are dark and scary. But this is a love story in a way about a girl whose imaginary friend left her when she was 8. When she is in her thirties and engaged, her imaginary friend comes back except he isn't imaginary anymore. Jane is finally happy again, but what will she do?
- The Last Song: Nicholas Sparks writes amazing books! I love this book and if you've seen the movie do not judge. I love the book 100x more than the movie. It's all about a summer romance and a girl whose dad is dying from cancer. Except her and her dad aren't close and she isn't happy about spending the summer with him, until she learns that he isn't such a bad guy after all.

5 Ways to Win My Heart
Hello!
So I know that I already blogged today about the bachelorette but today will just have to be a double whammy! Y'all just be glad I'm making time to do this :).
Today's Challenge is 5 ways to win my heart!
xo
So I know that I already blogged today about the bachelorette but today will just have to be a double whammy! Y'all just be glad I'm making time to do this :).
Today's Challenge is 5 ways to win my heart!
- Write me a handwritten love letter: I love a love letter, but whats better is when it's handwritten. Love letters are a perfect way to pour your feelings out without forgetting anything you may have wanted to say. They are sweet and romantic and probably a way to get into any girls heart! Handwritten makes it just that much more romantic. I don't like typed as much because I see that everyday with texting or email. If you are going to type it then why not email it? There is just something about a handwritten love letter/note that just makes my heart melt.
- Make me a homecooked meal: What's better than a homecooked meal? When you get to watch your sexy boyfriend cook it! That's what! I love to watch Josh cook me dinner. It makes me feel so loved and I love that he can cook! I'm not trying to be lazy by any means, but there just those days when you don't feel like cooking. For one of our first dates Josh cooked me dinner and it was amazing! He made me pasta with chicken, bacon, and alfredo sauce. I loved it and was very impressed with his cooking skills!
- Watch "my shows" and chick flicks with me :) : These are times when I enjoy having someone to sit and cuddle with. I love to watch One Tree Hill, The Bachelorette, Pretty Little Liars, and a ton of chick flicks so if you can sit down and watch those with me that will definitely make me smile!
- Listen: It's that simple, just listen.
- Be Yourself: Cause why would you want to be anyone else? Having a relationship with someone who is being fake seems like your relationship. So just be yourself and if it's what is right than you'll win my heart.

The Bachelorette: Week 3
So because the Bachelorette is one of my favorite TV shows and I need to blog more I thought The Bachelorette would be a great topic! It's only the third week into the show so most things are just getting started. I am going to outline the week and my thoughts on the guys.
One-on-One: Chris received the first one on one date of the week. On their date they climbed up a building to eat dinner on the roof. Emily got very nervous, but Chris was calming and confident. At dinner Emily finds out that Chris is only 25 years old (She is 27 I believe) and is extremely surprised. This surprise worries Emily that Chris isn't old or mature enough to get married and be a dad just yet. Chris assure her that he is old enough and is ready to be a dad now. After dinner, they take a walk to see Luke Bryan performing. Sounds like a perfect date for me. Luke Bryan shows Emily's southern side! Not sure I would have been able to focus on Chris though! The night ended with dancing and a kiss. I really don't remember having an opinion on Chris before but I definitely like him after this week. He seems very calm, confident, and caring!
Group Date: I am really trying to remember everyone who got to go on this date but I'm not sure. From what I can remember there was: John, Ryan, Sean, Jef, Tony, Stevie, Charlie, and Travis. At the beginning of the date Emily asks her girlfriends to interview her "boys" and they happily agree. The main points of the interviews were:
One-on-One: I guess they save the best for last with Emily and Arie being the last one-on-one date of the week. Emily flies them to Tennessee where they go to Dollywood, a very southern amusement park. Arie melted my heart when he wanted to play games to win Rikki a prize! Afterwards they overcome Emily's fear of rollercoasters and ride one together. Then Emily takes Arie down to the Celebrity Theater where Dolly Parton surprised them and sings a song just for them while they dance. At dinner Arie tells Emily he thinks he is definitely ready for marriage and kids. His previous relationship was with a woman that had two kids and he wanted more, which eventually led to their breakup. Emily was mean at the end of this date and freaks Arie out before giving him the rose, but Arie got the rose! Don't worry! I have to say I think Arie is tied for first on my list! He is definitely sweet, caring, and has let her know what he wants and that he is ready for a family.
Cocktail Party and Rose Ceremony: At the rose ceremony Emily's first order of business is to pull Kalon aside to talk. He has rubbed me the wrong way since he landed in his helicopter on day 1! He's got looks and money and he sure as hell knows it! Not only does he comment during the week that he is expecting the one on one date with Emily and is expecting her to go over the top for him but then he says the stupidest things at the cocktail party. First he makes the comment that he would want his first child to be his own; basically saying he isn't really into the fact that Emily already has a daughter. Then it gets worse. When Emily asks him a question about what he is saying he says to her, "I love it when you talk, but I wish you'd let me finish." That is so RUDE! If you are going to go through this process the least you can do is be a gentleman about everything. After that comment Emily said, "I don't like tall, funny, and condescending." I guess every season has to have it's cocky bad guy, but I just can't stand Kalon much longer. As if Emily's night wasn't going bad enough then she talks to Alessandro. Alessandro is from Brazil and I didn't really understand his presence, especially after what he said to Emily. Emily asks Alessandro how he would be as a dad and he replies that he doesn't have a lot of experience. He also goes on to say that having a wife and daughter (Emily and Ricki) would be a compromise. When Emily asks if he would find it as an honor he says no its a compromise because he wouldn't be able to do whatever he wanted because of them. She immediately kicks him to the curb; she didn't even wait to rid of him at the rose ceremony. I still don't quite get why Alessandro signed up for the show. He does know it's about finding a wife right?! But finally Sean rescues the night and tells Emily all the right things that she's been waiting to hear. Sean tells Emily that he wants her to know that his dad has shown him how to be a great father and that he would be Ricki's father in his eyes if they got married. Sean, my man, you just keep getting better! Since Emily has already sent home 2 guys she only got to send home one from the rose ceremony. I was banking on Kalon or Stevie going home and Stevie finally did! He didn't really do anything bad, he was just kind of annoying and jealous already!

Summertime!
Oh how excited I am for it to be summertime! Except I've only been out of school for 10 days and today was my first day back. :( On the upside I've already been on one vacation! My mom, grandparents and I all went to Orlando for four days. It was so much fun to spend time with the family without worrying about anything else! I enjoyed getting away from Statesboro and all the school work. Such a great way to start out my summer. Also, Josh started his new big boy job on Monday and is enjoying it!
But now I am in Statesboro for the next month taking summer classes. I decided I'd get some classes out of the way so I can graduate on time! I'm taking Biology and International Studies through June and then term B I will take Journalism online. Hopefully I will do as well as I did Spring semester, I made the Deans List! :)
The rest of the summer is going to be very exciting! Late June Josh and I are attending a wedding for one of Josh's friends and the next weekend is my sister's wedding! The next weekend I'm leaving to go to Washington D.C. for a week with my family. And the remaining time will be spent moving into my new house and visiting with friends at home. After the summer I will be starting my junior year of college! It's exciting but I feel like time is flying by and I don't want it to end anytime soon!

Day 24 - Something you've learned
I've learned several things throughout life. Some are things that people have told me, others are things I've had to learn the hard way. The hard way is not my favorite but that's usually how it happens because I don't always listen to what other people tell me. Something I've learned recently is that you have to move on from things. You can't dwell on the past or what was. You have to make the best of what you've got and live in the present. It's unhealthy and unsatisfying to dwell on things and live in the past. My boyfriend, Josh, is the person that taught me this. He has been trying to tell me this for a really long time because I could never move on from anything. If something bad happened, I couldn't think about or concentrate on anything else. It aggravated him so much because it brought me down. I wouldn't be the person I wanted to be. I would hold whatever happened against whoever did it and be mad until the next bad thing happened. Recently I've realized that he's right. Things are going to happen all the time that I don't like, but it's out of my control. I have to accept it and move on with other things in life. There is no need in wasting my time on something that isn't really going to affect my future or that doesn't really matter. I've just got to live life and enjoy what is happening NOW.

playing catch up... again.
These past two weeks I've been forgetting to blog! I've just been so busy with break and everything! But I am making it up!! So here are the last couple I missed!!
Day 21 - Picture of yourself
Day 22 - Favorite city
Hmm, favorite city... I haven't really ever put that much though into a "favorite" city but here goes...
I have to pick two because I can't make it just one. The first would be Destin. I went there last year with my sister and sister in law and we enjoyed it so much. We went to the beach a lot but there was still other things to do. We were never bored and could always find something to entertain us. We ate some good meals in some nice restaurants. It was too short of a trip and we definitely could have used a few more days to spend on the beach and maybe even shop a little. I would definitely enjoy going again.
Secondly I love Pigeon Forge. Mom, if you're reading this I know I complain about Pigeon Forge but you can only go there so many years in a row. I feel like in Pigeon Forge there is never a dull moment, and if you think there is then you must be missing out on something. My family has gone there several times for family vacations and we have never run out of things to do.
Day 23 - Favorite vacation
My favorite vacation has to be my Alaskan Cruise this summer. It was so much fun and something so different! (Look in one of the earlier challenges to read more about it)

Day 20 - Nicknames
Hey! So I remembered to blog today! :) Today's topic is nicknames, I'm not sure where I'm going to go with that but here is goes:
- HollyMo: Originated in 2006. This nickname came about when I was writing a note to someone and when I was signing my name on it the bell rang for class to be dismissed. I didn't finish writing my name and completely forgot. So when he read it he began to call me Holly Mo and it stuck. I was called that all through high school and even occasionally today.
- Holly Wolly
- Holls: This was my nickname in middle school. Almost everyone called me that and I still get called that by random people today.

Whoops!
I got behind again! My bad. So today will be three challenges like last post.
Day 17 - Something you're looking forward to
I think the biggest thing I'm looking forward too that's coming up soon is Christmas Break! I'm sooo ready for this semester to be over. It started out going by so fast but recently it has slowed way down and I just can't take it anymore! But only two weeks and then it will be Christmas break! And soon after Jennifer will be down for Christmas! (: I'm just ready for a break and some family and friend time! It will be nice to get away from Statesboro for a little bit and relax.
Day 18 - Something you regret
Hmmm, something I regret. This is a tough topic. I mean there have always been times when I think wow I shouldn't have said/done that, but in the end it's all worked out. It happened for a reason and I probably learned a lesson from it if it was a mistake. I guess I would say that as unbelievable as it may be that I don't regret anything. Part of that is because once a few years ago I read a quote that said "Don't regret anything because at one time that's what made you happy." And that is so completely true. I've lived by that quote ever since. There are things that sometimes I wish I wouldn't have gone through or had to learn from. But in the end it's all made me who I am today and the things that will make me who I am in the future. I have always been happy with how things have ended up and can truly say that I don't regret anything!
Day 19 - Something you miss
Something I miss is my family! Lately I've been missing like my whooole family. I have been busy with school and stuff and haven't had much time to go home or spend with the family. And I miss my out of town family too! I haven't seen most of them since summer. I just saw my sister for the first time in what was almost a year! I just wish there was more time to spend with them and not everyone was so far away. But I guess I will hopefully see some of them for the holidays soon!

Catching up...
Since I missed Monday and Tuesday's challenges I figured I would catch up today.
Day 14 - A picture you love
Day 15 - Bible verse
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
Day 16 - Dream house
Its pretty hard to show a picture of your dream house, but I would like to think it would look something like this:
Things I want in my dream house:
Day 14 - A picture you love
Day 15 - Bible verse
1 Corinthians 13
1 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.4 Love is patient, love is kind.

Day 16 - Dream house
Its pretty hard to show a picture of your dream house, but I would like to think it would look something like this:
Things I want in my dream house:
- Front porch
- Back porch with a swing and a view where I can sit and drink my morning coffee with my loving husband.
- A beautiful master bed and bath
- A big kitchen
- Entertaining space
- Two bedrooms for my kids
- Guest Bedrooms
- Beautiful dining room

Day 13 - Goals
Life is marked by goals. You make so many goals throughout your life and whether you meet them or not they were something you aspired to have or you still aspire to have. Your life timeline might be marked by the goals you have reached, or what you aspire to reach in the future. No matter who you are you have goals whether its to remember to do your homework, to lose 10 pounds, or to be a doctor. There are goals in everyone's life and here are some of mine. (Some are serious, some are silly)
1. My number one goal right now is to graduate college and do it on time. College is a huge part of your life and it prepares you for the real world. As of now I am on track to graduate and I will continue to be, unless I declare a minor (which is something I've seriously been considering).
2. Next, I would love to have a job that I enjoy. A job takes up so much of your time, I don't want to be stuck doing something that make me unhappy the rest of my life. I want to be happy with my job.
3. Getting married and having kids. I think this is a goal in most people's lives. I would love to get married and have a beautiful family.
4. Make a difference in someone's life.
5. Travel to Europe, Australia, and other foreign countries.
6. Have fun vacations with my siblings, Jennifer and Jamie(hopefully make him part of the fam one day!), and Ben and Sundy. Maybe to some very fun places!
7. Make good grades throughout my college career and keep the HOPE scholarship.
8. Get toned!

Day 12 - What you believe
"What I believe", what does that really mean? Are there are no specifics in what I'm going to write? How can I begin writing without an actual topic? I guess I will just list a few things I believe.
- I believe in God and Jesus Christ.
- I believe in love.
- I believe in best friends.
- I believe in family.
- I believe life's too short for regrets and to worry about the small stuff.
- I believe you should live life to its fullest degree.
- I believe in giving it your all even when you don't feel like you can.
